    I've been whitewater kayaking the Payette river north of Boise and will check out other rivers in the area. I have done much of the Green river in Utah and plan on more trips in Idaho with a new raft I just picked up.

    I'm hoping to draw a decent resident elk tag in Idaho this year as a new hunter at 53. Just shooting and staying in shape. Can't wait to head out and give it a shot.

    What's Your Non-Truck Hunting Rig?

    I'm a new hunter and plan on using my AWD Ford Transit. It does good enough off road and has plenty of room for coolers and gear. I have a land cruiser if I need to get to really far off spots but the van is just so easy. Also have a lot of watercraft to go down river if the need arises.
