I just had an E.H. Taylor SIngle Barrel this weekend. It was surprisingly smooth and good drinking. I also tried the Michters bourbon and it was exceptional. Definitely oakier than the EH Taylor though.

100% agree. I'm a new hunter but avid long rnage shooter (1,200 yards). At 500 yards small velocity changes due to brass weight inconsistencies aren't make or break. At 1,000 yards those small differences make a BIG difference. I think a bigger concern would be to make sure the brass (if fired...
