A lot of good advice so far and some not so great. The attached coursework is fine for a 2 month program to get his feet wet, learn the basics, and figure out if that’s really what he wants to do. From there, he needs to decide if he wants to stay local or travel and what industry he might want...
Everything already mentioned about Glacier above is spot on. We would drive the GTSR in the evenings when it was less crowded and saw lots of wildlife.
I haven't seen it mentioned yet but MT-49 from 89 to US 2 is an awesome drive.
x3 for Raptor. So easy to spray and looks great. I've done a couple trucks and a boat interior and been happy with all of them. As with anything - prep is key.
Here is my 180" IL public land buck. I am still on cloud 9. I was by myself and went to Walmart to buy a DSLR camera and tripod for the picture.
I love seeing all the deer in this thread. Congrats guys
Blackhorn and Barnes 250grain expander. Skip the powerbelts. No more than 80 grains by volume BH209. Start her off at 50-60 grains to get her comfortable.

Looking for some 125 grain Exodus - swept preferred. I would also take the regular 125s. Please PM me if you have some you're willing to let go.
Thank you
Same symptoms on my '14 with the exact same mileage. Torque converter puked and ruined the tranny. Ended up paying about 2700 for a new torque converter and rebuilt transmission. Sold the truck shortly after. Very common problem, the trans shop had 3 other trucks in for the same thing when they...
I think you answered your own question. The Stihl and Milwaukee are comparable in performance, but if you already have other M18 batteries the Milwaukee is a no brainer. I have one and love it, use it all the time. My neighbor has the Stihl and seems happy with it.
That is definitely not the case.
Milwaukee has my vote. We have hundreds of M18 tools at work that get abused and rarely have an issue. As with anything there is the rare lemon but generally they are great. I have a big variety of cordless at home too and the only one I've had an issue with is...
Got the vaccine last Monday (Moderna). Tuesday had a headache all day, Wednesday I felt great. Wednesday night I woke up extremely dizzy and nauseous. This continued all day Thursday. Friday I felt like nothing ever happened. Sure hope shot #2 is better.
This brings up a good point. While an EGO or similar would work fine, if you think there's even a chance you may want other cordless tools down the road I would go with one of the big three (Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt) that way you only have one type of batteries. I have a lot of the Milwaukee...
Surprised more people aren't recommending electric. Since buying a Milwaukee electric my gas saws barely get touched. It is very nice to always have the saw ready, don't need to listen to it idle or turn it off and on a bunch of times. Plenty of power and run time is great with 12 or 8 AH...
Haven't seen anyone mention an indoor dog wash yet. That is on our "must haves" for our next house. A fast slope under the garage door or a block out in the concrete to prevent water from coming in under the door is nice.
Some of the other posts are touching on this too, but don't skimp on...
As others said, put pressure on the company you work for. Tell them you want to move in to a manager role or you will look elsewhere. If they value you, many will be more than willing to work towards that.
I'm a PM for a mechanical contractor. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a CWI...
Definitely better than any other airline I've dealt with. One weird experience with checking a gun in Chicago but that's to be expected I guess.
Once needed to bump up a flight out of Anchorage to a day earlier if at all possible. Called and the lady on the phone was very helpful but said it...
