Do elk cross large boulder fields

This is kinda what i was thinking. Some of these fields are 100s of yds wide and go for over a mile. I was thinking that the 1st easy spot to cross would be a great funnel.. But of course, that's the whitetail hunter in me.

New guy from NY

Hi. New member from NY.. not the city. Lol. Up next to Canada.. I'm starting my research on a diy archery elk hunt , most likely in Colorado this year.. I've been deer hunting for 30 years or so but this will be the 1st of many elk hunts.
