    This is what I did. Factory stock is workable, but the forend is flimsy. The Stocky’s options are a worthwhile upgrade.

    Personal preference, but a 22” barrel does just fine with a 6-7” lightweight can. I wouldn’t go longer though.

    If it’s a factory T3X Lite barrel, 1/2-28 threads. You can purchase a quality thread adapter to get to 5/8-24 if needed.

    Do you encounter situations where your ONLY shot opportunity on a deer is from almost 1/2 mile away? Or do you think you could realistically close that gap by 200 yards (or more)? If you’re sharing this gun with family, 6ARC is probably the better choice.

    Realistically any caliber choice will get it done in this range. Go with the .223 for low recoil & economical practice. Most importantly, get that suppressor ordered. In ~8 months, you’ll be glad you did.

    Is the bare carbon version sealed with some flavor of clear coat (I.e. ready for field use) or will it need to be finished by the customer?

    How easy was the swap? Is there a screw under the Trijicon sticker or is the dial held on by some other mechanism?
