My bad dotman. I received the pack shortly before my 2014 spring bear hunt. No product testing, just a review of a great pack. Never tried a Kifaru, but sure would like to someday.

Usually hunt pheasants at least 3-4x a year. Last year was good and this year there seems to be twice the birds. Should be a great fall. Deer bow season opens up on Friday. Cannot wait to chase some mulies in the badlands.

Why did you pick that state to Elk hunt?

Montana for me. I can be to my elk area in around 6.5 hours driving from my house. Have yet to connect with a bull there, but did bring home a cow last year in November. Closer to home trumps the high tag price for me. Less driving = more hunting!
