There is usually always a little variation in fit between pairs, so maybe I just got unlucky with the pair of new originals I bought. I didn't notice a difference in the material/sheen -

The fit also feels different. There is more fabric in the legs and the waist is narrower for the same numeric waist size. -

You all might be interested to know that last week I got confirmation from Prana customer support that they will be bringing back the original Stretch Zion pant next year (2024)!
