Thanks yeah looking at the specs of both the collar and the 300 spine rampage it’s about .005” difference which would leave a gap and seems like compromise the performance unless u fill with glue.
i know this is an old post but looking to do the same...is the "c" collar loose on the rampage 300? is that why you need to glue it on? also how do you get the glue in the collar...almost think you have to put the glue on the shaft but dont want to heat the carbon obviously
Happened to me 3 times already…but as you say my bow is 80 lbs. I just got another plastic splitter from local bow shop and I’m gonna turn my bow down to 70lbs
Are the cables rubbing the cam now? Seems like the width of a peep wouldn’t be enough spacing if that makes sense…I’ve been trying to figure out how to permanently fix this problem also.
I just swapped top shims (shifted top cam to left) and at 13/16” arrow looks like it only goes slightly to left now and shooting bs and fp together at 25 yds. Sight housing is slightly blocked by riser but I can live with that
Just wondering if anyone else has center shot at 13/16” but when you look down at the riser is looks like the arrow is going way left? I usually try to align cam with arrow and have it go thru the limb bolt and it’s really close to center shot but not this ventum 33
Yeah definitely thought about it but I’d like to support my local shop so I’ll wait it out...they mentioned customers that ordered Mathews bows in Nov just recently got theirs so I guess it’s not only Hoyt
Yeah so I reset center shot and paper tuned yesterday (I have to yoke tune to where arrow is crossing string from left to right at nock to get bullet hole). Then turned down and shot broadheads with fp’s and they hit together.
I already know that with bullet hole paper tune at 80 lbs my...
Went out this morning turned bow down 2 turns (brought it to about 72.5 lbs). Broadheads shooting with fp’s at 25 yds. Looks like it’s def a spine issue.
Thanks! That makes sense to me but now it says the axis 300 is optimal (although it’s on the weak side edge of the green)...I have gone deep down the rabbit hole 😂. I don’t think I’ll be satisfied until I try a stiffer arrow so I’ll prob experiment with one of the 250 or 260 spines. I’ve...
Yeah I like to keep the broadhead just in front of the riser. Just paranoid of slicing my hand somehow. Debating between Easton axis 260 or be rampage 250. I bought the online archers advantage $12/yr, and for some reason it shows the rampage arrows running stiffer than axis (I compared the...
Reviving this old thread...I’m shooting a rx3 80lbs 28” draw. Easton axis 300 27.5” with 50gr brass 100gr pt. Paper tunes fine at center shot but then broad heads hit well right of fp. I have to move rest a good amount to the right (and yoke tune) to get them to group but then get about 1”...
Thanks yeah just went to the website and read about it. Did you all make videos comparing the double bevel to the new single bevel pass thru rotation? Or just shows the single bevel?
Sorry to hijack thread but saw your listing for the zeiss 8x32’s but I’m a newbie so can’t post. Very interested if we can somehow get it done. Also couldn’t find PM option
