I've had both - Kuiu Pro and the Marsupial Non-Mag fully enclosed.
The Kuiu isn't a bad harness - it's comfortable and does the job. But, there's a few shortcomings that make it less than the best choice IMO.
1. The front pocket is useless (as mentioned above).
2. It doesn't have a rear...
I recently ordered an Ultra Merino 125 in Medium. It ran small in the chest, but the sleeves were ridiculously long. Literally covered my whole hand except for about 1" of fingers sticking out. It got sent back. The material is very, very thin.
Props to Kuiu on the return. It was almost...
Wow, what a turn of events. I didn't imagine it working out so well.
And you get a new bag on top of it! EXO will almost certainly be my next pack. Too many good reviews and positive stories.
Congrats on a great ending!
You're right, I did pop onto the site a couple times yesterday while I was at work. I noticed you'd sent your PP info and planned to send the money when I got home so I could use my PC for the transaction rather than my phone. After my 12 hr work day and grabbing some dinner, I hopped on my PC...
So you've been trying to sell this for nearly a month. I decide to buy it and post it that I'll take it. Less than 24hrs later you bump it with the message "still available"???
You sent me your PP info last night at 8:46PM. Twenty-two hours later you decide you've waited long enough and...
I got Gaia a few years ago based on feedback and hated it. OnX isn't perfect by any means, but I found it much more usable than Gaia. The onX updates do seem to cause issues sometimes and the 3d maps are laggy b/c of all the rendering, but I don't plan to try Gaia anytime soon.
Besides the stuff listed above regarding load handling, I'd add how the bags themselves function. Is the layout efficient and functional? Can you access things in the bags/pockets easily or does it require removal of straps and/or excessive digging to locate stuff? Is it easy to convert from...
It's not the hip belt per se that's the problem; it's the hip pouches on the hip belt that really do the blocking. Add in the firearm tucked behind the hip pouch and viola, pocket access = no fun.
