    Update Just finished my 3rd year with this stove. It’s still going strong. No complaints. Cooks fast, packs small. I took a half full fuel canister this trip used it for 2 meals a day and still had some left over after a 9 day hunt.

    "I bought some 1.8 mm reflective cord from Ebay that seems really nice. Came from China so it took a couple weeks. I just use a taught line knot for tensioning." I did the same thing but used amazon, less bulk and less weight plus the reflective line is nice at night

    Thanks guys Its hard sometimes making gear multiseason/multipurpose. I will look into some of these options and experiment with what I have. I haven't tried a liner before, so that would be something to try.

    Ok I guess I need to try gaiters this year, never used them before. What about snow shoes? Is that something you would only need at end of season or above tree line? I'm guessing if you need them then elk will want to move down away from the high country anyway.
