Because of my chosen profession I haven't archery hunted for elk in 7 or 8 years because the season falls square in our harvest period. Before this archery was my favorite way to chase elk. This year harvest looks to be at least a couple weeks later leaving the chance I could slip away for a...
I switched to 12X50 ELs last year and love them. Between Colorado oak brush and Arizona desert I never wanted anything else. They seem a bit much for archery in the timber but if glassing country is the approach I love them.
I have two Razor HD Generation 1 spotting scopes. Both are in like new condition.

I'm not much help but going to be tagging in to see everyones opinion on this. Because of my chosen profession I can't archery hunt my home state much. This year harvest seems to be being pushed a little late and I think I might be able to get a few days in on the OTC antelope hunt since it...
I bought these new 8/1/2017 and used them for one season. Then last year I purchased a set of 12X50 ELs and just haven’t used these at all. They are in great shape and come with everything in the box. $1400 shipped. Thanks
I wouldn't say I regret it but I have started to use them up and have a different strategy moving forward. Looking to hunt more and count points less. I think hunting a decent unit on a regular basis is more effective than hoping to draw a great unit then get lucky. I've seen too many people...
I like having the post count for posting in the classifieds. I would have posted as soon as I joined but need to wait allowed me to realize I needed to get organized before I posted. Rather than throwing something up and then not responding like I need to for the sale. The requirements seem to...
The points game will make you cry. Its pretty easy to spend over $1000/year just chasing points. My budget went up when we bought our business. I basically looked at it as a cost of buying the business. My busy season is September-October. If i am going to hunt much (especially deer) it...
I agree with most people on this stuff. We donated money to BHA and a couple of local Nonprofits(one works on public land and one protects ag land). We also donated product to TU, MDF, RMEF. It sometimes feels like you need to join half a dozen orgs so you can support half of what they do and...
I used a pop up 28 this year to pack out two elk. I also did most of my training hikes with it. It did really well other than I broke a buckle on one of the elk. I wish they had used heavier duty buckles for the straps for securing loads. They did replace it with no problems. Other than that I...
I have both a fast Eddie with the double up pin and the tommy Hogg with a five pin. I think it largely depends on the style and time of hunting. I think the up pin is awesome for clean sight picture and long range but I didn’t care for it when spot and stalking hunting for rutting mule deer...
I am running a 12” micro hex counter slide on my triax with Mathews new two piece quiver and so far really like it. Mathews bows have always been top heavy to me and with the addition of the quiver it just gets worse. I tried a lot of options with this bow including a quivalizer, tight spot 3...
We have a pair of Blizaks that came with my wife's highlander. I never thought we would have snow tires but these things are great. I would much rather drive her car on a snowy/icy highway than my rig. Kind of a pain to change out each year but it would be hard to go back
