Kenetrek Hard Scrabble tongue tearing up Darn Tough socks.

I wear darn tuff socks daily and have wore out a few pairs. They have all lasted me 4+ years of daily use. I rotate through about 8 pairs. Cant say enough good about them.

I own a property service. I brush hog, build driveways, clear land, food plots, dirt work..etc.

adjusting to altitude

Water is the best thing to take. I live in Oklahoma and travel to the mountains 3-4 times a year and haven't had issues in years. Get in decent shape, drink lots of water and pace yourself the first couple days.

Are binoculars and a bino harness neccessary?

A bino harness IS a must if you bring binos. I hunted in some thick timber last year and never really needed them, other places I've hunted Ive used them a ton so just depends on where you're hunting. If you're going to use them get the best you can afford.

How do you carry bow while hunting?

On my bag, over the shoulder holding the stabilizer, in my hand, with a sling..... I hold it everyway possible haha

Heading out in a week. (Unit 71) Hey guys, Ill be leaving in a week. Ill be hunting unit 71. I talked to some locals and they all recommended Lizard Head Wilderness. I found some spots I like (mostly around Wilson Meadows) but Im solo hunting I am concerned about getting an elk out of there...
