In our case we talked to the outfitter and they told us a different story than what we experienced. Talked a wildlife biologist after the fact and they said approximately 100 elk in the whole unit. Pretty place but not great elk numbers.- Highlander1

I hunted there with a few other hunters and an outfitter and it was terrible. Beautiful country but no elk. Pretty sure the guides knew that. Disappointed we wasted our money on that hunt. Would love to hunt the Selway again but very jaded after that adventure.- Highlander1

Need help please! Montana Elk hunt with my 12 year old son
I would not call Jon Andre. He sold the business anyways. If you did book a hunt with him I would seriously check the results of that outfitter last year. He sent us on a wild goose chase.- Highlander1

Booking Agent Shoshone Wilderness Adventures
Just got back from an Idaho Elk hunt I booked with Andre in 2020. The hunting was terrible. Jon’s claims vs the current elk population were way off. Turns out he sold the company. Depending on how this new company handles the issue determines whether I use this company again. Apparently...- Highlander1
