I have a couple Nikon products that I have sent in within the last couple of years for work. They were both bought 5 and 10 years ago so nothing new and I was worried that they would charge me to fix things. I did not have a receipt or anything like that. Had great customer service though. They...
I have the ty-50 and the ty-70a. length is the biggest difference. The 50 has a better attachment screw on the bottom. You don't need a screw driver or hex bit to tighten which is nice. But they function the same. I like the 70a for spotters just due to it being a bit longer and makes it easier...
Have you compared this scope to the vortex razor series? I have a razor currently but am intrigued by this spotter. If there was not a big optical difference I would probably switch to save on the weight and size.
can you put the davros head on an arca plate and then put that on the pan head so you don't have to give that up? This is what I am currently considering just don't know if this will work tougher.
I have a SG pack and love it. Packs great and is super comfortable. That being said my brother has the new Pro Kuiu pack and I have spent time with it as well. If you were to pack big heavy loads a lot I would recommend the SG but for what you are looking for Kuiu would be my choice if I was in...
Thats a good idea. I haven't thought of that before. It does not have hashes. It is just a duplex reticle. But yes I agree that its unacceptable to be shooting at an animal with that issue and am just wanting to get it figured out. I figure it might be the dial scope since it is consistently...
So this might be confusing and kinda long. I have a christen arms 300 win and put a Leupold vx-5 on it last summer and had a gunsmith mount it and zero it.. At 100 yards on a bench I am grouping very tight and on the bullseye. When hunting last year I dialed up to 600 to shoot at an elk and felt...
Well I know for me at least that I just extend the leg out that is sticking out farther. Makes the tripod level. Don't know if that is what you are looking for. Love the VA-5 head though. You will love it.
You will run into deer hunters but that shouldn't effect your hunt much. I live in the area and have hunted it my whole life. Feel free to send a pm and ask any questions
I am looking at getting one of these rangefinders. Does anyone have any experience with either or both of them and have pros/cons about it? They are both the 1600 model and around the 300 dollar range. I don't really want to spend more than that. Any other options out there in that range I am...
I have the surui model from gohunt that comes with the va-5 head. Its the aluminum model and I really like it. There is not a huge weight difference between the carbon model and its was just under 200. The head alone is around 160 or so and I find having a great head to be a great help.
I have a pair of Crispis and really like them. I have terrible ankles and have had no issues with them. Have heard good things about zamberlan too and will be getting a pair for this fall.
I love my 5900. I did have some issues with the lid being a bit floppy in bivy mode just due to the fact I didn't have enough things in the pack to fill all the way to the top. I dont use the lid anymore in bivy mode just due to not needing it but when I go in for extended trips it works great.
I have the older model of the badlands sacrifice. It has been a great pack but I went another route and I no longer use it at all. It hasn't been used for a couple years and was used for 3 seasons. It is in great condition and functions great. I don't have any pics at the moment but will get...
