How to transport my meat to a game processor

I'm a little wary about how I might transport my elk meat (considering I harvest one😂) back across the mountains, into boulder where my Processor is. I unfortunately do not have a truck anymore, I have a jeep patriot which is on the smaller side, but I think its big enough to transport elk...

Finding Elk Opening week

I hunt Colorado and last year I couldn’t seem to find many elk during the opening week. I think this year since we’ve had such a hot summer and everything that I’ve noticed is so green, that they’ll most likely be up above tree line for a while. Any suggestions or input would be awesome!
