Hunt cut short... knee injury

I had a similar problem earlier in moose season, I internet diagnosed it as suprapatellar knee busitis also. 2 days after the day I overtaxed it, I had knee the size of a cantaloupe. Compression and anti inflammatorys (ibuprofen) worked, but I kept off it for a week before the fluid was gone...

What is the deal with latex gloves?

What he said, bears can be nasty. Sepsis is a possibility with any animal blood. I usually have cuts and scratches on my hands before the skinning anyway, from work or devils club or something else.

What hard and/or soft case do you use?

I use a Badlands Terraglide for my commercial airline flights. Hoyt Carbon Element fits in it just right, but it's too small for a 35" a to a. With baggage restrictions and charges I like to be able to put as much stuff in each bag as I can.

Stone Glacier and Kifaru
