Thanks for the replies guys and making me feel better about it.
I had cycled a round through it a couple times and it ejected fine etc. I just wanted the reassurance since it seemed to sit pretty far back.
I’ll degrease everything and start mounting.
Mounting a scope in some of the sportsmatch rings everyone has raved about on here.
I noticed with the recoil pin in, the front ring seems to sit really far back even if I apply pressure down a forward when snugging down. Is this normal or is the ring too far back?
The ring still sits flush...
I’ll try an upload more pictures when it’s fully mounted, just mocked it up lastnight to check clearances. Will be installing a Talley anti cant indicator as well.
Yeah, the neoprene the Trijicon came with still fits.
I haven’t had any issues yet with bolt, but I noticed depending on your set eye relief it may hit on the Repositionable Magnification Knob it comes with depending where it’s set too. I have it where it came set out of the box and it clears.
In case anyone was wondering for reference, I was able to get the extra lows to fit on my tikka t3 with no issues. Plenty of clearance with a Trijicon Credo HX 2.5-15x42.
Wore the condor grid fleece on 3 hunts this year so far; one being a multiple night backcountry hunt and it was great. Light, warm, and has held up. I plan on running it on 2 more hunts this season and hopefully some more next fall.

Another option to consider, I’m looking into as well as I have some rifle primers but wasn’t having luck finding the above primers either.
