Howa Mini for 223 and 6ARC...which stock/chassis?
I have the B&C M40 I got used and it's a solid stock. Not the lightest but a good stock. A buddy of mine has the JTAC elf owl chassis and really likes it. Both where drop in and ready to go. -

Combo hunt
For sure, I am open to any game bird pronghorn combo. Just somthing to get my bird trip in with the dogs and have a chance at something to take home with the rifle.- gspguy22

Figured I’d reach out and see if there was anyone with some insight to a hunt I’m wanting to plan. I have two GSP’s and try to travel at least once a year to hunt with them. I have been wanting to get after sharptail grouse and Huns. I also would like to try and incorporate a pronghorn rifle...- gspguy22

Good to know. Have a friend with one of the heaved options and have seen him make hits at 500 standing . But it's a predator rig. -
Modern 338 Federal?
It is defiantly a good round. Can always neck up 308 brass. -

For 338 fed it seems like hand loading is the only option now days -

I have the schnees kestrels. Do a lot of walking for bird hunting light and flexible but still plenty of support. Have held up well. -

I have a mini with the "heavy" 20 inch barrel in 6 ARC. Really like the rifle. Shoots good but will need a better stock. Heavy barrel is more like a medium profile IMO. Solid guns -
