    Hydration

I have been using propel packs for years. I think I have stuck with it bc it's cheap and you can buy it anywhere. Starting to wonder if it's time to expand my horizons and try something more modern. Anyone have thoughts or data on propel vs all this new stuff?

    Christensen Titanium

good thought, but I don't think that was the issue. I hope the .004" of headspace was the culprit. I will report back once I get it back to the range.

I did dry fire and also used snap caps& spent cases. No heavy lift without firing a live round. Why do you ask that?

    Sheep feet arches

I bought SF about 6 months ago. Took 2 or 3 training hikes to get used to them. Now, no looking back. I pulled Superfeet out of my other boots and rotate the SF into whatever I’m wearing. Expensive but worth it.

    Ultralight Tripod Options

I have been running Leupold alpine CF425. Pretty close to what you are looking for out of the box: 2.0 lb, arca, ball head VS pan. Works really well sitting and you can leave the center column behind. Heavy spotter or high winds it gets shaky. I have range tested shooting off it. Have not...

Same time frame in AK. Got real for me last night when I sprayed my clothes with premetherine and checked bug bug net for holes. Good luck!

    Kuiu hydration sleeve options

I was surprised when my LT did not include a water sleeve. I called Kuiu. They recommend using the large zip dry bag. Tried it, actually works pretty well. https://www.kuiu.com/products/zip-dry-bag-stone?variant=40340119224478

    Sheep Boots

Ditto. I’ve been hunting in leather Crispi guides fir years. They have held up. Just bought the new Briksdal Mtn GTX synthetics. Mostly bc they are significantly lighter and hopefully faster drying. If they don’t work out, I will have the guide to fall back on.

I get it. I’m hoping this is a setup to under promise & over deliver. Also recognize they likely have other rifles in the queue. I will report back with actual turn around time & repair summary.

    Sheep Boots

Crispi Briksdal MTN GTX. light weight, great ankle support and just stiff enough for steep stuff.

    Christensen Titanium

So I bought a Christensen Arms Ridgeline with Ti action in 6.5 PRC. I want to love it because it shoots great, lightweight and good fit for my hunts. The problem is the bolt lift is extra heavy after firing each round. So much so that it takes 2 hands to cycle the bolt. I called Christensen...
