6 Creed Berger 108 EH Load Info - Pressure Early?

Feedback on Preferred Barrel Hybrid Lite for Tikka T3x Lite
My 6.5 PBB has right at 1,200 rounds down it now. I did a 25 round group over the coarse of a few hours, just out of curiousity. It's still shooting well. This is their #2 contour, not a hybrid lite but good data nonetheless. -

Short cartridge in long action (22 or 6cm LA Origin)

Good looking rifle. You should be fine with an 18", they seem to do well from a short barrel. My 19" 6cm velocities are: Lapua SRP and H4350 103 ELDx at 2900 (range load) 103 ELDx at 3030 (hunting load) Peterson LRP and H4350 loads: 105 BTHP at 3000 108 ELDm at 2995 -

Stuck CB in suppressor and unscrewed my whole barrel. I didn’t know I was so strong
Whack the crap out of it with a rubber mallet, that helps break up the "carbon lock" that has siezed up on the threads. This was advice I got directly from Thunderbeast years ago. -

Sierra Game King Bullets

TBAC CB Compatible Muzzle Devices?
I've not seen an option other than the Hanson Bros, previoulsy mentioned. I have thought about going that route but I've been hesitant as supposedly the ports on the Tbac CB act as a "sacrificial" baffle for the can. Also, for the "direct thread" option on a Tbac, pretty sure I read that all... -

7mm-08 and 162 ELD-M
In my old Rem 700, 7-08 that had a 22" Bartlein, I used Varget with the 162 Amax. Ended up at 39.5 grains at 2630 fps. I worked up to 41.0 grains at 2720 and it shot good, just better at the lower node. -

280 AI - Light & Fast Loads

6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....
I've loaded them a good bit and they kill just fine. I switched to the 140 ballistic tips (mainly because of availability) and my impressions are the 140's tend to produce more consistent "bang flops", so to speak. But I would never feel "undergunned" with the 120 BTs on deer sized game at... -

Short Barrel 6 Creedmoor?
I just put a 6mm creed barrel on my Tikka, Osprey 1-7 twist at 19". Initial load testing with H4350 and 103 ELDx looks good. Worked up to 3100, where I hit pressure signs. The accuracy nodes appear to be at 2900 and 3050, either will be plenty for my needs. -

What did you do in the reloading room today?
Loaded up some 103 ELDx for testing in my new 6mm creedmoor barrel. Osprey, 1-7 twist, finished at 19" on my Tikka. I was pleasantly suprised at the speeds I got with the short tube. Osprey 3b contour, looks very similar to a CTR profile from what I can tell. They turn the shank down...
