    As for spotting scopes. I have a 22-48x65mm for day trip scouting and I carry sub compact 15-30x50mm for pack trips. That saves a couple lbs.

    From my experience, 1-5 years has been best in Utah. Usually after 5 years, the area's deer population starts to decline.

    Actually, I have heard a lot of good things about the Tikka and I have friends that love that brand. I was just disappointed in the selection of left hand rifles in the model and caliber that I was interested in.

    Typically you get what you pay for when it comes to trail cams. Although I did buy some cheap Bushnell's several years ago that have produced great pictures.

    I'm not sure what you you mean by not importing. I just on their site and they do offer the lite and super lite in right handed 6.5 prc but not left handed.

    I've just used a cheap plastic v shaped edge sharpener made by kline but it does put a good edge on my blades.

    I had been using a weatherby accumark 7mm rem mag. at 10.5 lbs. w/ scope the past 20 years but just moved into a savage 110 ultralite 6.5 prc at 8 lbs w/ scope.

    Pics of heavy but narrow muleys...

    Here's my 2019 buck that was under just 24" wide but scored 191". The picture may be deceiving but he did have just under 36" of mass.
