I have had a kodiak canvas tent for two years now and have used a bit buddy heater in there with minimal moisture issues. If it ever gets to be an issue a Nuway stove/heater would be my best bet.

It’s never too soon if you are trying to learn the area. But if you are trying to locate cows expecting bulls to be there in September, then you are better off waiting until the cows are settled in which varies depending on the area. Once the snow is gone I would say go for it!

I think it depends on where you are hunting. I averaged a trail camera or two stolen a year when I first got into cameras. Then I put them all in boxes and ended up having more stolen. Mainly because I got too confident in the lock boxes.
