    Wyoming Preference Points Question

WOW! Well, I might not be upright by the time I earn enough preference points to draw that unit or 37/38. I'm 53 and I guess I should have planned this hunt a little sooner. Thanks for the info. Brady G.

VAP TKO 4 vane setup vs. 3 vane

Thanks for the detail. I have tested the Max Stealth and Max 23's in 4-fletch on my Axis 340's.....I guess I need to try some different configurations on my TKO's and see how they fly. Best, BG.

    Wyoming Preference Points Question

Thanks for your advice Inidan Summer. I've been hunting Whitetail in the Northeast for 30 years and this would be my first attempt at Elk. I planned on hunting with a guide (since I wouldn't know where to start on my own) and he said I would need to buy some preference points before I could...

    Wyoming Preference Points Question

I'm preparing for my first Elk hunt in 2023, in Wyoming units 37, 38 & 39. I was told I will need 3-9 preference points to draw an archery tag for those units. Since I won't be prepared to hunt until 2023 I want to build my preference points without drawing a tag. Do I choose a random...

Did you find that the 4 fletch Fusions provided better stability with the Muzzy trocar vs. a 3 fletch setup?

    Vxr 28 or 31.5????

I was stuck with the same decision and I have always prefered the longer bows (I had the Defiant 34") However, I shot the VXR 28" better than the 31.5". I was surprised but I went with the 28"...oh, and my draw length is 27.5". Good luck.

VAP TKO 4 vane setup vs. 3 vane

I just switched to the VAP TKO's when I had to drop my new VXR to 50lbs. because of a shoulder injury. I was shooting Axis 340's, 28" @ 64lbs. with a 4 fletch Max 23 vane. Does anyone shoot the VAP TKO in a 4-vane configuration? If yes, what type of vane, offset/helical? or are 3 vane...

Shrewd Grip vs. Ultraview Beereal for Mathews VXR

I wasn't aware they are affiliated with Mathews. But I agree, kind of crazy the the initial design does not fit the most popular rest on the VXR.

Shrewd Grip vs. Ultraview Beereal for Mathews VXR

I just got an e-mail from Ultraview and apparently they are making a modification to the Beereal grip to fit the integrate rest. They indicated the grips will be available sometime at the end of June....for those who are interested.

Shrewd Grip vs. Ultraview Beereal for Mathews VXR

Great feedback. Could you share a pic of how you filed the back of the grip to fit the integrate rest? I have not been able to order one and no response from Ultraview regarding availability. Thx.

The side plates might be an option as well. Will look at those.

Shrewd Grip vs. Ultraview Beereal for Mathews VXR

I think I will try the BeeReal and hope I achieve a repeatable grip as well. The shelf seems to provide good protection from BH's as well. Thanks

Shrewd Grip vs. Ultraview Beereal for Mathews VXR

Looks like the HDA grip has a flat contour like the shrewd and beereal and that looks to be a more stable design. Thanks
