    My optimum loads for accuracy and velocity are; 180gn Barnes TTSX with IMR7828 for 3030fps 200gn Nosler Partition with Norma MRP for 2840fps. I've had higher velocity with other powders but were not as accurate.

    A Comical Tale of a DIY Elk hunt

    Elk hunts can test our equipment and endurance. Pre-season scouting does not always bring our hoped for results with unpredictable hunting pressure and our current drought. Your were very resourceful and maintained a great attitude. Enjoyed this and thanks for sharing.
