    I learned my lesson last year. We were into elk everyday and I passed on spikes and cows. We never got a shot at a branch antler bull.     Thanks guys. How quiet are they and how well do they compress compared to other jackets? I would like to get the new Kryptek jacket but the $150 I can save with the Cabelas I can put towards my Kifaru pack purchase(once I make up my mind which model I want).

    Light or medium 1st Lite base layer

    After using Under Armour the last 5 years I have decided to upgrade to merino. I hunt Sept archery in whatever state I get a tag. Do most of you go with the light for your base layer.? I sweat easily with activity but tend to get cold at night( need to upgrade my sleeping bag).

    Missouri Ozarks Rokslide Rally & Turkey Hunt

    Does anyone going have a Kifaru backpack? I would like to check one out and see what all the hype is about. I am thinking about upgrading my 7yo Eberlestock J107. It has been a good pack and wore well but it does wear on the shoulders with my longer torso.
