    Tundra tires

My last set of tires was Duratracs and got 43K miles. I could probably drive it for another year but since it is fall/winter, I opted to replace it with WPs a couple of years ago. I have over 10K miles now and am very pleased with it thus far.

    257 Weatherby for Moose?

If you have the right barrel twist, you now have plenty of heavy high BC bullets. I built my .257 WBY (1:7") to primarily propel the BJ 131s, Berger 133s/135s, and the Black Hole145s. The heavy .25 cal bullets are a game changer. Below is the 145: Good luck on your hunt. Ed

    HAMMER Bullets Performance on Game

Take a deep breath; there is no need to be defensive. I am in no way telling you what bullet to use but rather, if my .300 WM 190 Berger set-up can penetrate as it did; your 195 Berger set-up can easily outperform mine, as previously noted in #62 by @amassi. I thought we were having a civil...

    HAMMER Bullets Performance on Game

First of all, Berger bullets are frangible bullets and do not need an exit wound to be effective. I harvest an MT bull elk at 931Y with 190 Berger VLD .300 WM at 3043 FPS. I shot him through the chest with no exit wound but penetrated 3/4 of the elk, and all vitals were souped up due to a...

What does everyone do for a living?

I retired from USAF in 2007 and transitioned to the civil service side as Management Analyst (GS-12) for the Department of the Air Force two weeks after retirement. Currently working on my second retirement. :) ADDED: I am also a life long learner/professional student.

I am just an average guy with lots to be thankful for and loves spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and other outdoorsy stuff the Big Sky Country of Montana offers. Looking forward to sharing and learning ... Ed

Hammer Bullets shipping to Canada 🥵

It's one of the first things I read before joining. As it appears, just like LRH, he keeps on advancing with complete disregard of the forum rules instead of resolving it privately with the vendor.
