    Kenetrek mountain extreme hands down. I use it during archery all the way through November. Most comfortable boot i have ever owned. I used to buy the Danner Trophy but the kenetreks are much better in my opinion.

    Good binos and good spotter are a must in SE Montana. Be prepared to spend hours behind them glassing. I would rather sit behind glass then walk around and hope to find deer.

    Lots of bears east of the divide and more open terrain. Plus the country tends to be more open and easier to spot and stalk bears in my opinion.
