If you are hunting in the area of Ozona, Sonora, down into Del Rio and along the Devils River the rut seems to be full blown the first week of September into early/mid October. If you are in far west Texas say Big Bend, Van Horn, Trans Pecos it kicks off a hair later typically the 2 to 3rd week...

My sons 2019 NM Barbary

Very cool! I have known quite a few people who hunt NM and have not even seen one. Barbary/Aoudad hunting is very addicting.

Turn around time for a Euro mount?

Beetles are the fastest but a nightmare if you have any mounts nearby. Typical turn around 2 months. Boiling/power washing a couple weeks to 2 months depending how busy someone is although I find that over time the teeth slowly get loose when boiling. We also on occasion find a big red ant hill...
