    Anyone tried Forloh clothing?

Well, I looked. It’ll be good while before I own anything. Sure is expensive to not really add anything others can’t. Combine that with too dark and too green camo (for my applications) and no used market to test out before dropping $xxx Not saying it’s bad, just that you have a few hurdles to jump.

What piece of gear do you wish existed?

Saturated with junk. Everytime I send an arrow it’s $25 im likely throwing away. Of course that’s with the arrow too, but still.

What piece of gear do you wish existed?

    1. Reasonably priced camouflage, lightweight , gear. Crazy right? 2. Hip vents on everything. 3. end this “athletic cut “ BS on anything from 2X up. Ironically it’s not the belly area that troubles me. 4. Boots/ waders/ gaiters etc for big calves. My 10.5 shoe has nothing to do with my...

    Custom Knife Help

Likely doable. The varying amounts of pith and size will determine the outcome. You’re likely familiar with waiting periods for scoring antlered animals, keep in mind that is because they are still dynamic. You’ll need to hold on to this for a while before anything can be done or your new knife...

    Custom Knife Help

I’m a custom knife maker and I have made many knives as you have requested. I get loads of guys that want to commemorate a hunt but had a less than trophy worthy animal. But as for true outdoorsmen, the pursuit is what matters. Antler is a fickle thing. Some are better than others and some can...

    Beef & Pork Fat

The fellow that said Mexican meat market is spot on. I can get any fats I want and half the time it’s free. Other stores I have to call ahead, wait, pay, and hope it’s what I wanted.

    What's your favorite caliber?

Hard to pick a favorite child. After some soul searching I chose .308 and .311 so 30cal it is. I use all kinds of rifles but ultimately I find I hunt with two 308s and a 7.62x39 the most.
