    Doe's still yarded up

Don’t know where you’re at but I have no bucks on does on my property yet. Bucks are still in groups and does together. We also have not had any cold snaps either.

    Hornady interlock?

Yeah same here. 165 interlock out of a 308 put a softball size exit hole in a doe shoulder at 380ish yards. You’ll be fine.

Sign at Twin Falls County fair in Idaho

Should be posted at every sporting event all the way through high school. The way people act at these kids events is idiotic.

How do you choose a custom rifle builder?

Never said GAP was fast! LRI is only “long” if you are having inletting work done. I was quoted a year on just the inletting. Everything else from them is fairly quick compared to the rest of the industry as a while.

How do you choose a custom rifle builder?

I have more than one off your list and a few more over the years. For me it comes down to how the customer service is honestly followed by quality of product. The short answer is there is no one right answer for everyone. LRIs ability to update customers on the build process with pictures is...

    223 varmint ammo

Look at starline brass too if you’re looking to buy brass. It’s cheap compared to most others and it good quality. I’m running that on my daughters 223.

    223 varmint ammo

Yeah that’s steep. Is it the varmigeddon or superformance stuff? I never ran that only the standard 223 55vmax that was below 20$ a box - more like 12-15 if I’m not mistaken.

    223 varmint ammo

I have not priced the 55vmax stuff in years but when I was shooting that stuff it was a hammer. Killed lots of management deer with it as well. The ADI stuff gets tons of great reviews it seems.

Yellowstone and Tetons-- June or July

We just went the first week of June and barely missed the madness. When we were leaving the line to get in the west entrance had to be 100 cars long already by 10am.

Meh I wish their brass was better. The last time I used their brass variances were crazy and ended up with me chasing my tail for a while.

Miles on your old 7.3 diesel?

I had a late 90/early 00 f250 that I bought with 120k. Sold it with 198k to my friends dad that is still driving it. Kick myself for selling it but of course had a bunch of problems prior to selling and then zero after I sold it. Wouldn’t trade it for my current 6.7 though…

Why so many fat steel barrels and so few sporters?

All the comp boys. I just bought a truck axle barrel because I got a crazy deal on it.
