Brown 3 or 4 packs of elk burger with some oil. I typically use olive oil. Pour off grease and add meat to crock pot.
Add following:
1 can of beer
1 regular can of corn
1 medium can of of ranch style beans (26 ounces?)

I do 8 (+/-) hours of cardio per week.
I also lift 3 times per week.
I do not really worry about the weight I carry, but try to eat sensibly to keep the fat from accumulating.
It seems to me the two things that are important to me are good lungs and massive leg strength to stabilize load...
Call the fellows at black ovis. Tell them your needs and something about your foot pattern and specifications. They will give some good advice. I was directed towards two sets. Chose one that would fit my hobbit feet. Really like them.

I had Lowa Tibet’s in wide and they were still too narrow. Danner combat hikers in wide fit good but was not happy with the durability. Bought Crispi Wyoming’s last week and so far they are good to go.

Can you not:
Put 10+ of the preload (quick loads) with powder and bullets in your rifle case.
And put a box of primers in a small hard case in your checked luggage or even at the opposite end of the rifle case.
Not once has a flight crew asked me to open the case and show them.
