At this point whats done is done. Change is coming and a draw is certain.
Personally I am just hoping that NR are not required to purchase a non-refundable license to enter the draw. And if they are required to make that purchase then I at least hope you can have 5+ hunt choices so you at...
my thoughts exactly! don't see much of a market for this. nobody is going to pack 14 pounds of tent into the back country. might be cool for truck camping but at that price point might as well just get a kodiak. also so not sure how any tent can accomodate an "open fire" for any period of time.
also considering changing my .308 tikka into a different caliber. I personally have never done something like this.
say I want to change my .308 to 6.5cm or some other caliber with the same bolt face...What else do i have to do other than getting a new prefit barrel for it.

your diamondbacks will be able to tell you whether the elk you are looking at are bulls or cows at reasonable distances. If you are wanting to judge bulls you might need more power depending on distance.
Had my bear hide out of the freezer yesterday prepping it for the tannery and was pleasantly surprised to find the bullet lodged in the opposite side of the hide. Factory 165 gr. Federal Trophy Bonded out of a .308 at around 550 yds. Bullet did pretty much what you would expect at that range...
DISCLAIMER. I am by no means an optics expert but this was my experience.
Spent some time with the Gen 2 at sportsman's today. They did not have any gen 1 on hand but did have a bx5 that has the same housing and eyecups as the gen 1. I will say the eyecups on the Gen 1 are awful compared the...
