If SWFA hasn't redesigned the (enormous turrets) I'm guessing they will only be making minor changes rather than a whole new line of brand new scopes.
I'm sure SWFAs main focus just needs to be getting, and keeping items in stock.
Usually a donut would be used to make the reticle more visible at low mag on a FFP scope.
Interesting you like them at high mag, at 10x they just starts getting into the way IMO.
Hopefully SWFA offers a a few different reticles. I see this Christmas tree getting some push back.
The better question is who would buy a 7-35 ATACR with a MIL-XT reticle and capped turrets? Almost no one.
Dialing for elevation and holding for wind is always my preference but for hunting or shooting matches there are times where you don't have time to dial.
Personally I don't like trying to...
I think the main issue is there isn't really a scope on the market that fills all the other requirements for the "perfect" FFP hunting scope.
What scope in the 2ish-16ish mag range currently meets all the requirements in Forms formula?
If you want Night Force to put this reticle in the NXS that...
8x42 LRF best all round IMO.
I don't think you need more than 8x until you are doing most of your glassing past 500yards.
10x really need a tripod to get the most out of them, so you may as well just up to 12x or 15x
I have a pair of 6.5x32 binos that are excellent for bird watching and...
The calculation I use is:
FOV (ft or meters) x Magnification (that FOV is taken at) / Magnification (you want to know the FOV for).
I enjoy geeking out on these specs, especially if I do it in work time....
Tunneling will effect the calulation when using the lowest mag FOV spec.
The highest mag FOV spec is more susceptible to rounding errors.
I usually average the results in the hope that is the more accurate number. But if the scope tunnels I'll just use the highest mag FOV spec.

I've made similar tables to this but use the magnification settings of 3x and 10x for my comparisons.
There looks to be some errors in your calculations.
The PST 12x, 2-12 Helos 5x, Ares 5x and XTR 5x, all don't seem right at a quick glance.
I moved to pic rail and rings on everything quite a few years ago.
Just so much easier to try out a different scope of a rifle or even use multiple scopes on a single rifle.
I used to have the Talley rings on all my Tikka's then JnP adapaters with Burris signature rings on my rimfires, it was...
Yes it did, confirmed by repeating the rest with the scope removed and dropping the rifle.
The NF rings usually return to zero perfectly but was getting lateral shifts all over the place.
Will try as you said and re-attempt the drop test.
Have you done a similar thread on how you bonded your KRG Bravo?
I attempted a drop test the other day with my T1x and a PST Gen2.
Everything survived the 18" drops but at 36" ran into problems, after some troubleshooting discovered it was the action in the chassis.
If I were to go down the...
I think all the Bravo needs is to loose some weight from the rear.
It's easy to add the weight back in if you want it but on a light contour barrel rifle it ends up very rear heavy.
Not sure if it's easily doable but I'd like to see the aluminum back bone be completely separate from the...
I've had both scopes and the VX5hd is worlds apart.
The glass is better, the FOV is wider, the eyebox is less sensitive.
I had a VX5hd and a VX6.
The VX6 tracked well, in the VX5hd the clicks were quite calibrated correctly but tracking was reliable.
I would never buy a Mark 4 scope in 2023...
I'm surprised this scope hasn't gotten more traction on this forum.
Seems like its what everyone has been asking for in a FFP hunting scope.
I'm not keen on the reticle either (big centre dots makes zero sense for any application IMO) but it could certainly be a lot worse.
