Yeah it is, I've personally shot one and it surprised everyone in the group how quiet it was.
And it's just as repeatable as any TBAC, we tested that too.
If 6 oz is worth twice the price then that's the only reason to go with an ultra 7.
Only two things matter, length and girth..
If you're looking for a 7" can don't waste your money on TBAC get a YHM Resonator R2.
If you want max suppression and recoil reduction go with a Nomad LT or CGS Hyperion.
Another to consider is the Diligent Defense Enticer L
I've killed about 5 or 6 bulls with a 6.5 saum, and my wife's killed 2 more with it.
I like that you're keeping shots inside 500 yards, I've stretched the 6.5 quite a bit further and almost lost a bull hit center lung.
I've used a variety of bullets and the absolute biggest POS was the 142...
Makes sense
it's optimized for PCCs, I wouldn't expect it to be quiet with those cartridges given the 9mm bore diameter.
One sized fits all never turns out well
I'm looking for feedback on the steiner t6xi in terms of ability to hold zero and track after a little abuse.
Has anyone racked up a good round count cranking the turrets on one of these?
Bounced one around in a vehicle etc.?
Good stuff, the only point I'd disagree with you on is that the CGS Hyperion is (according to everyone who's compared them to the magnus) the quietest 30 cal can on the market.
The recent thread about the 338 ultra can going in for a $1300 repair bill also makes me 100% committed to never buy a...
To properly suppressor and reduce the recoil of a 300 wm you're going to need a long fat high efficiency can.
I don't know anything about otter creek but I'd get their L version over the k.
My personal recommendation is the DA Nomad LT, or CGS Hyperion.
Don't get hung up on size trust me you'll...
For sure
I got it specifically to run hot on gas guns.
I was really torn between sever other options but the unconditional warranty sealed the deal.
Edit to add: I have a buddy with a threaded 338 RUM so I'll see how she does on there too once I get it
Yep
Especially when Rugged puts this type of service out there!
I just bought their Alaskan 360 to run on my PCC just because of their warranty.

Dude that is one steep repair bill!
You'd think tbac could help you out a little better than that, things happen..
I like dealing with companies that hook it up no questions asked
