The Talon looks like a great platform. The Trijicon Huron 3-9 is a steal at $299 if you want a simple 3-9x40

I have huge admiration for the 6x only crowd but that has never been my cup of...
so is it the side bolsters that make is seem narrow or are you just a larger framed guy? I have thought about trying one but kinda unsure since I have a stack of older pads. Would you do $80?
Dusted off the ole 3D printer to make an adapter that would still fit in my bino harness or could be left on the tripod… will play with it a bit and see if it needs adjustment.
As much as I like Aziak, that is no solution for how I carry binos in a harness… I’m gonna work on a “homebrew” solution to fit in my MG medium harness
I snagged a set of the 16s and have been really impressed… haven’t had a chance to take them back out west yet but the stabilization is a game changer on spotting game movement even here in the SE… definitely worth the sub 900 price they can be snagged at on sale

I am huge fan of 6.5 G but in that circumstance would choose 7-08. The Grendel really shines as an incredible performer in the AR platform but no real reason to choose it for a bolt gun. The ammo is not cheaper than 7-08, there is not a significant difference in action weight (unless looking at...
