I dont personally use it but use a lot of nemo products. I was looking at them as well as a backpacking tent, hence the REI sale I spotted. I know a lot of guys using them and like them, especially in the pure ultralight backpacking world.
Annual budget depends on species. I have no issue putting in for oryx in NM and goats in ID knowing I most likely wont draw and get money back. If I do draw thats even better. I am probably looking at 3-4k to put in, with low chances of getting tags, therefore most of the investment coming back...
I like the idea of spread it around as much as possible. Then I can at least get into some decent areas in 10 or so years from now.
I think I'll add CO for at least archery mule deer as I can probably get into some decent units in a few years. Maybe build point for elk and deer in UT.

Hello! I wanted to get everyone's input on tag point strategy. I currently have 1 pt in WY and 1 pt in AZ. I apply every year to NM to no avail.
I will be applying to AZ, NM, and buying a point each year for WY.
My question is should I add another state in the mix to build points? Like UT/CO...
I've had nothing but good luck with OnX. I like the idea of gaia though as they also have a lot more hiking and off road trails as well. Might just have to make the switch, especially since I jeep and have carplay

My wife built one! We used a stall mat from tractor supply 6x4 I believe for $48. All the wood was scrap. I shoot my 68# bow into it and arrows only go about halfway. Works amazing. Self heals too, can't tell where Ive shot it
