I'll bite....one reason it's different is because in most scenarios guys who are shooting long range can't even get to where they are shooting to in a reasonable amount of time to check for a hit/miss/wounded animal etc.
We got tons of dudes shooting across huge canyons that will take them...
Heaven forbid we discuss a current event in the General Discussion area right? Would you prefer we go back to bitching about non-residents vs. residents?
I don't disagree.
Some of the stuff I read was talking about how that bridge is a major thoroughfare for shipping hazardous goods, oil, gas etc.
If it was terrorism/act of war I think it is more of a "long game" strategy, cripple us a little bit at a time.
That's a question I have, if the gubment thought it was an attack, what would they gain by not telling us?
Just trying to stop hysteria?
Cause I agree with you that they never miss a chance to fire up the war machine and make themselves some money.
I don't think the theory is the people on board the ship were terrorists, I think the theory is the electrical system of the ship was hacked by terrorists.
Because we've accepted that there are some hoops to jump through to hunt out of state and don't just think we should get equal rights to Residents of that state?
Some folks accurately claimed that the new Wolf hunting & trapping regulations would bring about lawsuits like this.
They were flamed by the crowd that thought for some reason the new regulations would magically lead to a bunch more wolves getting killed every year.
I don't necessarily agree about Boise, they are notoriously behind on keeping the infrastructure on pace with the growth. I lived in Star for quite a few years and the 2 lane highway from Star to Eagle is evidence of this....or the fact they are just now building a direct path for Hwy 16 to get...
This would make sense if you had to pay extra for everything if you didn't live in Idaho, but you don't.
However, you bring up a good point.....maybe we should charge out of staters more for everything and then we could have some of our peace and quiet back on the weekends ;)
