Any of you guys need to GAIN weight like i do? Need some tips.

lifting heavy, eating clean and getting plenty of sleep- from my own personal experience, at 6 foot 3 going from 145lbs to 215lbs in 3 years - lift heavy weights at low reps and as many sets as you can. Merino underware??

I have been wearing smartwool and won't go back to UA. The UA's just smell so bad after a days use, washing helps but it seems pointless when you can get a good 3 days out of a pair of merino.

    Shelters

I use a Hilleberg Soulo- it's free standing and bombproof in all conditions. Plus I can take out the inner shell during summer months or add a bug net. I have not been sold on the idea of bivy/tarp/stove- although it looks nice to have fire/warmth in the shelter.

Be Safe when Eating Bear Meat!!!!!!!!

I agree with shanevg, bear meat is mighty tastey and it was a dietery staple for me and my dog. Buy a digital food thermometer and be certain it's cooked to proper doneness. I hate to think hunters leaving bear meat behind out of fear of the Trichina worm.
