    MSR Dromedary Taste

Fill with fresh water. leave it in the sun all day. Empty. Fill again with fresh water and leave it in the sun all day. Empty and thoroughly dry. You should be mostly g2g after that. Try to keep it out of the sun when you actually need to use it. Thats probably the best SOP for new water...

    Fasting

My first 24 is always the hardest for me. I think the idea that "a meal is coming soon" makes going longer a more difficult task

    Fasting

I generally do 48 hr. 1x montly.. My last fast was 60 hours. I could have gone 72 but my wife made a meal just for me. I'm sick sick, i'll fast. I'm 18% bodyfat so I have reserves to survive. I've found that fasting has eliminated hunger headaches, hangriness(if I stay occupied) and I make...

    Painful joints and feeling "old"

This is a PSA I turned 40 about 6 months ago and life is starting to catch me. I'm fighting back though. Last few years its been easy to get a small disk bulge that would put me out for a few weeks of the gym. Injure myself lifting too much. etc. I got fed up and got back in the gym and...

    Welder recommendations for my son

Auxillary things like slag pick, apron, chats, etc would be a good gift. Tell you what.. A good set of OSHA boots would go a long way for him. He could get them resoled when he wears them out every 6-8 months. Welders are on their feet ALL day. Generally hard concrete or expanded metal platform

    Welder recommendations for my son

$200 welder... That would get you a used stick welder. Ain't nothing wrong with stick welder. In construction, stick is used A LOT. You could find a "mig" at that price point but it would be a waste of money. Just don't do it. Flux core mig you'd want a 220v model. When you get a true mig...

    Iron Will Wides

Haven't shot anything with them yet.. If your bow isn't in tune, you'll find out in a Jiffy when shooting these. A higher profile vane will cover you if your bow is a little out. I've shot the wides with Max stealth and IW vanes. I assume the Max Hunter vanes will operate teh same as the IW...

I'll have to check this out. I used Waltons in the past and their italian seasoning wasn't so great. Waltons does however produce an excellent swiss brautwurst, fresh chorizo, and breakfast seasoning I just got my yearly pig so I'll have to check this out.

If you're not over 6ft tall I'd recommend a Prius. you can find a deal on them here and there and they get 50+ mpg if you're not driving at 70+mph on the regular. I use mine to commute to work 65 mph is generally as fast as I'll get it up to. Once you're on a lot of hills and 70+mph you'll...
