You are correct. With only a hundred bucks separating them, it certainly weighs in the WM favor.

I just recently got a Nemo Tensor Extreme with a claimed rating of 8.5. I’m hoping that it works as intended. Right now the WM Badger seems to be the consensus, it’s also the bag I was leaning towards from the beginning.

Are there others that you can recommend? I have looked at Big Agnes, Paria, Kelty, Mountain Harware, Marmot. Not that I wan fully versed in any of those, but that’s where I started my search.

I had a whole other response typed out and it occurred to me to me, my problem has been sleeping pads. I have never had an insulated sleeping pad, until about a week ago. Looking for a reccomendation...kuiu mountain star 2p

I bought one right before it went on sale (seems to happen every time I get something from KUIU). But I am happy with the overall quality. It is a little tight for 2 people but it is certainly manageable. I spent 4 nights out in it, it stormed 3 of those and I had zero issues. Packed up easily...

That’s been my mind set. I’m particularly interested in the WM Badger and the Chilkoot 15. On BlackOvis they are only $100 dollars different, sounds like I can’t really go wrong with either.

Thanks for the input on the cut of the Antelope. I need a little wiggle room inside the bag and this helped me remove one bag from my consideration.

What elevation were you hunting at? Looks like I’ll be roughly 6500-9000 depending on which part of the units I’ll be in.

The area I am going shows historical temps in the 20s during second rifle, but that is the nearest metro area, so I’m sure it will be a little different in the mountains.

That’s been my thought process for sure. I have a down jack and and pants that will be going with me.

Thanks for that input. I’m a cold sleeper so I should probably air on the side of caution.

Hi All, This is my first post here and would really like help narrowing down my options for sleeping bags. I realize that this topic has been discussed to death so I thought I would do a poll and ask about personal experience. Relevant information: I am trying to decide between Stone Glacier...
