The bow bolt systems are slick. Toelke and Hurst also use them. I like them because you cant really tell that is is a two piece bow until you twist. The socket and sleeve system can have issues when the bow is unstrung if the socket isnt tight enough.

My Tikka vertical grip one came with the thin recoil pad. It worked fine but there is a limbsaver that fits almost perfect. I got the number from the stockys thread, I believe it is 10800.

The DaySix guy talked about this on a podcast. He said that the slightly curved blade allowed it to keep more of the 3:1 cutting angle as opposed to the comparatively more blunt angle of the front of the IW. I think it came down to push cutting vs slicing?

I dont think there is anyone telling you not to shoot a corelokt or powershok at a deer from 150 yards. The ELD-M is probably preferred in the long range forum because of its higher BC.
