Yeah i figured it was up in that area... could have been a stove or a fire from a hiker/camper up there that started it. The amount of people in the wilderness area in the summer is crazy.... Hikers and campers literally everywhere and 0 cell service.

Hard to say how it started but I'm guessing it was human caused. Rangers are super strict on the fire ban up there right now but they cant watch the dispersed campers as well as they can at the road side camp sites. This is a very high use area for backpacking and camping.... i hope S&R and...

Sitka suggestions.

I have the opportunity to get into a Sitka system this year.. Money isn't really an object for this but it must be sitka. I will be hunting Wyoming pronghorn in October-December and hunting 3rd season deer/elk in Colorado. Been looking at the NOAA at past years as far as weather to get an idea...
