basically what was said above. glass the hillsides and you'll see bears. Lots of creeks and such so make sure you are familar with your area and have good mapping, there isn't much service in most areas. I drove down Monday for a peek and saw several bears.
just went through this myownself and ordered some mt . hagen off amazon that should be here friday. i bought a pour over thing the other day and wasn't a fan of the hassle, bought another one off amazon that has 3 legs and a baggie so atleast it's light i suppose but I usually only have one 500...
Heading into year 4 of not drinking. Was a big change at the start but don't miss it a bit. Heading into a really nasty divorce and haven't even thought about drinking. Seeing this post and just thought I would chime in and say some folks can drink in moderation and that is great for them, I...
I had a CR 500 that I put a weighted flywheel and a few other simple mods that made it a great trail bike that still had the 500 powerband and all the fun that entailed. Lots of options out there for two strokes to be more trail friendly but you do miss putting a paddle tire on and heading to...
I enjoy having a fire, either in the stove or just a small fire before bed reflecting on the day and making a plan for the next day. Depends on where I am set up and what the plan is, if I am gonna be in an area for a few days I'll wait to have a fire until I get the lay of the land. Never been...
ah. yeah I think it is an ash plow, there was a damper hook and a brush as well with mine. I really have no idea, i'd read the instructions but I burned them already...
I have no complaints, seemed to be an effort to get the first fire going good but otherwise it's a great little stove. Like I mentioned earlier I had bought a stove similar to this before and had to burn all the paint and whatnot off, no issues with this one.
got mine today, fyi the 14" weighs 16 lbs so don't be getting any ideas. one of the leg screws was wonky but for $29 it's expected. gonna cut the pipes as noted by others and tipi arrives tuesday so seems like a happy pairing. Guess I have a reason to go bear hunting next weekend. Gotta try the...
18" out of stock...almost had one inbound. we'll see how the 14" does. also there is a $92 teepee tent on amazon that I got to pair with this since it's gonna be a truck camp option. I mean all in for less than $125...why not.
I got a MR combo beartooth/sawtooth from them and couldn't be happier, stocking sometimes seems to be an issue but everything I have ordered through them has gone smoothly.
