Fun question. Before answering, I need to know more:
1. What level of precision are you after?
2. How well is the gun performing as-is?
3. Is it factory new, used with unknown history, or something you assembled at home?
Good price on likely the last US-made double barrel scattergun. A friend worked on this design. I wish I were rich so I could surprise him with this. Good luck on sale!
I tried to resist the urge, but the temptation to install the IMI Defense folding stock was too much, so I folded.
While the folder adds weight compared to other stock options, the reduced size sure is nice. It's well built, too. As this sits with optic and magazine, total weight is just below...
If you're dead set on a mini spotter, the best I've found is Nikon's ED50. However, it's critical to use the fixed 27X wide angle eyepiece. Together, this is a magical setup that weighs right at a pound. I've had mine since 2009, and to this day, it's the only spotter I use, and I've had high...
Never done one, Robtattoo, but a 6.8 SPC straight-pull should work out. Assuming case diameter correlates to ease of extraction, it could offer advantages over Grendel-based rounds. With a 12.5-inch 6.8 barrel and can, it would be a fantastic general purpose ultralight AR.
For sale is my dream 6mm ARC NULA Model 20 Short, one of the last built by Melvin Forbes before he sold to Bill Wilson. I took ownership in mid 2022.
This has a 20-inch barrel and the traditional NULA paint scheme. I'd guess that it has 70 rounds through it. Shoots great and weighs little. The...
I kept the Trijicon and added Talley bases and rings to the NULA 6mm ARC.
Speaking of this dream rifle, PM me if anyone is interested in buying it. I recently got my FFL/SOT and have been going crazy with suppressors. I mention that because I can't bring myself to chop and thread the barrel...
The problem with the Encore route is threefold.
1. Receivers are discontinued and pricey.
2. Custom barrels cost as much as complete rifles.
3. You can't upgrade the design.
It was and is a clever firearm, but unless you’re already an owner, buying a TC single-shot now makes little sense.
I've been twice and am always amazed at how old the Argentinian's camo clothing is. I'd suggest bringing a few sets of clothing and leaving it with them. They will wear it. As for knives, the blades they use for butchering are the size of large steak knives. It's impressive.
AccuPoints are suberb. For most of my hunting, the post reticle is a handicap, but when I went after Alaskan brownies last year, the 3-9x40 Accupoint with green illumination got the nod. (FYI: I did not shoot this small bear, but I couldn't resist the photo op.)
