Freedom RDS BDC on lever 45-70?
I'm looking at the venom 1-6 now. Think that kind of fits the ticket of what I want. Recommended height for rings? It says 3.7" eye relief but I'm not sure where exactly I want to place it on the rail. I just got a Henry all-weather with the rail installed so I've got plenty of room to move it out. -

Anyone have any experience with a Leupold Freedom RDS BDC on a 45-70 lever action? Want to get fast target acquisition at close range but if the opportunity arises for a 150 yd shot I would like to be able to adjust. Looks like they're good for muzzleloaders. If there are other suggestions for... -

Yeah it just touches. I haven't stress tested it by putting a lot of miles on it yet to see if it would bother me but something tells me it will a day in. Just trying to figure out a solution before the season starts. -
