Getting a new sleeping pad which one is best
I’m 6’5” and was 255 (shrinking that number) and I went through 6 or so different pads. Settled on the thermarest xtherm max. I’ve used it in the summer and I’m the snow. Best pad I’ve used by far and a solid warranty if you ever need to use it (I haven’t). Not cheap but I would buy it again in...- xrangerx

Lots of good info. Leaning RCM but have pondered a 338-06 too. Downside to the 300wsm is to get the performance you have to go with a longer action -

Where the belt is on the back you see the “triangle” on mine? The grip patch is different on the g2. And I think the g2 has a small pocket on the top lid- xrangerx
