I’m in western Oregon myself. I would focus on one or the other. I also rarely see turkey in my deer spots. You could keep a shotgun in the truck and if you see a turkey on a way to a deer spot then switch it up. I would put all my energy into deer though.
Depends where you hunt. I live in the Roseburg area. East or South east of Roseburg you have a chance of running into a bench leg buck. West of Roseburg you will find all true costal blacktails. Also be aware in the immediate Roseburg area we have Columbia whitetails as well.
My buddy killed a buck in the Oregon coast range that dressed out at 132lbs. That’s no head, skin, guts, and all legs removed at the knees. Butcher said it was one of the biggest bodied Columbia blacktail he had ever seen.
I definitely would use a multi pin for hunting. My hunting partner has missed 2 bulls this season because his pin was set at certain range and couldn’t adjust his pin in time.
I don’t change a thing but put on rain gear. I am hunting Rosies in the PNW and some years you would miss out on half the season if you didn’t hunt in the rain. This year is not one of those years though. Calling for 102 here on Saturday.
Thank you for the hope. I hope it’s just me. My old unbraked 300 win mag is with in a couple ounces and I could shoot that just under 1 moa with a factory 180 Barnes ttsx. I’m shooting my fierce suppressed. I’ll work on my form and give prone a try. I will also have someone else shoot it to rule...
Update on my ct rival 22” barrel chambered in 300 win mag. I have about 25 rounds down the pipe so not a whole bunch but I can’t get it to shoot better than 2 moa at 100 yards. I followed their break in procedure to the letter. I have tried 205 Berger elites, 185 Berger vlds, 190 eldms and for...
Thank you everyone for all the advice! Everyone has given me a lot to think about. Fortunately with archery elk season approaching i will have a lot of time alone in the woods to contemplate everything. I’m not going to lie and say going back doesn’t make me a bit nervous. I do have a wife and...
The programs I have looked at waive the tests when when you have a minimum 5 years of experience in a business related career, which I do. I currently work in the timber industry.
Thanks for the response. The company I currently work at about half the executives have an mba. My bs is an engineering degree. I have heard from a couple people though about lower mba ratios in higher positions.

A bit of a random thread, but I am currently looking at going back to school to get an mba. This is not to switch careers, but to advance my current career path. I’m considering a few completely online programs. What are some your experiences or advice with going back to get an mba while...
