    kahles scope quality

That Kx is better than the Z3 and on par with the Z5. Have many Kahles C, CL, CSX scopes and the only one to go back is a Helia N from 1989-90. That one is going back next week as my 9.3x62 has beat it up pretty good recently.

    Stiller-Pierce-Christensen Arms?

I can get the rifle for a pretty good deal and would just use the action and associated parts. That's the only reason it's there. Is it worth moving up to the other two?

    Stiller-Pierce-Christensen Arms?

Looking at upgrading from my LH Model 700 SA. Have a line on a good deal for a CA Mesa doner action or would I be better off with a Stiller Predator or Pierce Custom. Looking to keep it around 1k max on the action. Will be used for a Remage barrel. Looked at several higher end and settled on...

Kowa adapter system for DSLR/Mirrorless - Anyone?

Have the adapter for my 77x models. Took it with me to Glacier NP. Was pretty sweet. Wish I had practiced more so I could have taken better pics. Glad they make one and that I have it. pm me with questions if you want.

    Filter on a Spotter?

Anyone run a filter lens on their spotter for protection? If so, do you see a difference and what do you run? Appreciate the insight!

    WTS Meopta Meostar 10x42 hd - $750

Have a pair of these and they hold up very well against my 8.5x42 ELs. If I had the Meoptas first, I wouldn't have bought the Els

    Barrel threading debacle

Put some light grease on the threads and go slow when tightening. I always take a wire brush and go over the threads first in case there is any crap on them from threading.

Binocular upgrades: Buy used or buy new?

Bought a used pair of Meopta Meostar 10x42 HD last year and they hang pretty close to my Els. Haven't needed the customer service yet. I took the gamble and it paid off. Almost sold my Els, but I like that they are 8.5x442 so I'll keep them as well...

Between these two scopes- which one?

Have quite a few Swaro and Kahles. Learning the hard way with others that aren't those... Guess you have different experiences....

Low light scope expectations. How much better are they than the Leica I might return?

Another good suggestion. Had a Diavari 3-12x56 and it was really good. The Euro scopes are great in low light. Kept my Swaro PH 2.5-10x56 and sold the Diavari because I liked the reticle better.

    "Budget"/Value 85(ish)mm Spotter

Have one of the old Bushnell Elite 80 mm spotters w/ the 20-60, 30x & 25x eyepieces. It hangs w my Kowa 77 mm and could be had for considerably less.

Low light scope expectations. How much better are they than the Leica I might return?

If you have a 3-10, that is the AV series. The AV were 3x magnification and the PH were 4x mag. The AV were the equivalent to the Z3 series. The glass and erector/spring on the PH are different and have a 30 mm tube.

Low light scope expectations. How much better are they than the Leica I might return?

The PH series was the top of the Swarovski line before the Z6 was introduced. Great scopes. The also made some 7 or 8x56. Those are pretty rare also.
