Buy the LH Tikka in the caliber she wants
Order a McMillan stock in the color(S) of her choice in the LOP she needs now. Have a 1/2 inch thick pad attached, then when she grows taller you can change it out to a 1 inch thickness
Cut the barrel down so it is proportional to the stock and have it...
I use them. The 6 footers are great, have two. But I would avoid the 8 foot long tables as they sag in the middle over time. You could add a set of legs under the middle to prevent the sag if you wanted to.
The rifle makes this cartridge shine! I own both the 300 and 338 RCM's in left handed. Ruger built these with a slightly shorter length of pull, which is fantastic in thick areas or when wearing winter clothing. Plus mine have 20 inch barrels and factory iron sights.
My advice, keep the rifle...
You should do plenty of homework.
How long can all of you stay on a Visa?
Medical?
Finances? How much money do you need to bring in country every month? Is it taxed? Does the country have a VAT on everything you purchase?
Neat idea, just try to remove any potential surprises before moving.
The highest rated trucks are almost always 2WD regular cab. Be realistic, very few people buy them for towing or payload.
If you want to compare specs then do it with comparable trucks. Like crew cab 4wd versions.

Generally the break even point is around 100k miles without factoring in the diesel is worth more used. One of the biggest and often overlooked advantage to the diesel is the...
Just read about a business in Nashville that was fined over $300,000 for selling "delete" parts.
EPA is sending a strong message, Don't do it.
The interesting thing is when Uncle Sammy (at least the USAF) buys a Ford diesel for gov work they specify the builder "delete" the truck when it is...
Day to day average for my 7.3 is 13 mpg. That is running 45 miles to Anchorage on occasion and some around town errands.
If I remove the drive to Anchorage it drops to low 12's. Best I ever seen was 17 on a 300 mile trip where I purposely slowed down to 60 and coasted anytime I could.
Fill up a gallon zip lock with water, seal it shut. Poke a hole in one side and watch the water come out. Then put another hole in the other side and watch.
Always prefer pass thru unless I know for sure I can hit the spine or break down the shoulders.
Just for the OP's info:
I towed roughly 7K and had an estimated 3,000 pounds in the bed of my truck when I drove from TN to AK this past June. I averaged 10.4 mpg for the entire journey. Truck is a 24 F350 CC SB with the 7.3 and 4:30 gears. I rarely drove faster than low 60's. Had to refuel...
