Thanks for that information. Been watching a lot of the youtubes and may just be overthinking it a bit too.

I place the target and paper at eye level and secure it so it doesn't move upon impact. I try and balance all of this with an arrow weight and FOC I want to finish with. Once I have perfect 21' arrow flight I move out to check flight at 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards, then shoot fletched and bare shafts at distance looking for groups to have the same point of impact. The Ranch Fairy has a lot of information you might be looking for. Attached is a photo of my finished grouping at distance with three bare shafts and two fletched shafts. Fletched shafts weight more thus drop more, but they all fly the same. I know what you are saying when you say "over thinking it". I am in my second year of the over thinking journey and still playing.

I've been watching the ranch fairy and just started out at 20 yards. Will try moving in closer to start and work back from there.
